Project Intro

AnchorElla came to Vivid with a product, a new business, and a goal: get their beach umbrella anchor in front of customers and make it easy for people to buy.

‍

As a brand-new business, they needed more than just a website. They needed a complete online experience that could support the business without becoming a full-time job for them to manage.

AnchorElla Product Ecommerce Website

Objective

The goal was to create a straightforward online store that clearly explained the product, built trust with potential customers, and made purchasing simple. Just as importantly, the website needed to be easy for the AnchorElla team to manage on the back end, even without prior experience with web development or ecommerce.

Process

We approached the project the way we approach every Vivid project: we listened first, then built a plan around what actually made sense for the business.

‍

We focused on making the product easy to understand, highlighting its safety, simplicity, and affordability, and creating a streamlined path from learning about AnchorElla to making a purchase. Behind the scenes, we built the ecommerce functionality to be just as straightforward for the owners to manage as it is for customers to use.

The Vivid Advantage

One of the biggest advantages on this project was being able to work with the AnchorElla team in person. Based in Lewes, we were able to meet locally, talk through the process face-to-face, and make something that can often feel complicated (building and managing an ecommerce website) feel much more approachable. We weren't just handing them a website and leaving them to figure it out. We made sure they understood how it worked and that they had a simple, practical system they could manage as the business grows.
