For more than 25 years, Darrell Lewis has been helping homeowners throughout Lewes and the surrounding communities improve, expand, and transform their homes. His reputation was built the old-fashioned way: through quality craftsmanship, word-of-mouth referrals, and a commitment to doing the job right. Despite decades of experience and a strong local reputation, Lewis Built never had a website to showcase that work.
Darrell came to Vivid Creative Studio looking for a modern online presence that reflected the quality of his business. Using his existing logo as a foundation, we developed a complete visual identity and website experience designed to showcase his expertise, highlight past projects, and position Lewis Built as a trusted choice for larger renovation and addition projects throughout Coastal Delaware.
Objective
Build a professional online presence that reflects nearly three decades of experience while attracting higher-value renovation and addition projects.
Lewis Built had already earned the trust of homeowners across the region, but without a website, potential customers had no easy way to learn about the company, explore past work, or understand the full range of services offered. The goal was to create a polished, professional website that would establish credibility, showcase craftsmanship, and help attract qualified leads seeking larger-scale remodeling, renovation, and home addition projects.

We made the entire process as simple and as stress-free as possible.
Darrell provided a collection of project photos, a list of services, information about his service areas, a few testimonials, and some background on the business. From there, our team handled the rest. We developed a cohesive brand style built around his existing logo, organized and refined the content, wrote supporting copy, and designed a website that communicates professionalism, trust, and experience.
The site was strategically structured to guide visitors through Lewis Built's services, highlight completed projects, and reinforce the company's long-standing reputation within the local community. Throughout the project, we worked closely with Darrell to ensure the website felt authentic to his business while providing a modern experience that would serve him for years to come.

Many business owners assume building a professional website requires countless hours, technical expertise, and extensive preparation. Lewis Built is a great example of how that doesn't have to be the case. Darrell provided the essentials, and our team filled in the gaps by handling the strategy, content development, design, and technical implementation. The result was a professional website without the overwhelming workload often associated with website projects.
Just as important was the relationship built throughout the process. Rather than relying solely on emails and zoom calls, we met with Darrell in person several times to discuss ideas, answer questions, and build trust. And it didn't have to be all business either, we went out for a beer and had a good time, too. Those conversations helped create a website that genuinely reflects both the business and the person behind it. Oftentimes the best projects happen when good work, good conversation, and a local connection come together.
